At the core of my work is a reflection of my profound desire to honor and express the Universal Spirit of humankind.  My work is inspired by the unlimited possibilities of Spirit and the realities of life with all of its beauty and challenges.  Through my work I like to expound on universal laws that cross various religions and spiritual philosophies. My forms also celebrate the pride, integrity, and differences of cultures as well as the human form itself.

I am attracted to the excitement of repurposing the everyday common and perhaps, mundane object, whether manmade or from nature, for its beauty can be transformed and re- interpreted.  Powerful and sensual images of the emotional, spiritual and physical world can be dynamically represented with mixed media.  Each medium has the potential to bring a different dimension and perception to the subject.  The rawness and everchanging effect of time on these materials i.e. distressing, aging, rust, reflect the beauty, rhythm, and perseverance of the spirit.
